Former Ahmet Fetahagić Barracks

Importance of the locality:

: In 1992 and 1993, the former Ahmet Fetahagić Barracks in Visoko served as a detention site for Serbs from the Visoko Municipality. The barracks were under the control of the army and police of ARBiH. Some 300 persons were confined at the site under harsh conditions. The prisoners were regularly subjected to interrogations and abuse and used for forced labour. At least one prisoner was killed or succumbed to injuries due to abuse at this site.
