Former Hotel Radoč

Importance of the locality:

From 1993 to 1995, the cellars of the former Hotel Radoč were used for imprisoning civilians and members of the National Defence of the Autonomous Province of Western Bosnia and members of VRS. The conditions were harsh, prisoners were kept in cellars without toilet facilities or windows. The prisoners were regularly subjected to abuse, beatings and forced labour. More than 15 prisoners were killed or died from injuries caused by the abuse committed at this site.
