Construction materials warehouse in Gornji Zovik

Location: Gornji Zovik, Brčko

Importance of the locality:

The construction materials warehouse in Gornji Zovik near Brčko was used from September 1992 to March 1993 as a site of detention for Serbs from Brčko and was run by units of ARBiH and HVO. Conditions were harsh and inhuman and the prisoners were subjected to regular abuse and forced labour.Access to food and basic necessities was severely restricted.
