Elektroprivreda Garages in Livno

Importance of the locality:

In the summer and autumn of 1993, starting from 21 July 1993, the Elektroprivreda Garages served as places of detention for Bosniaks from the Livno area. The prisoners were subjected to inhumane conditions where they were kept in overcrowded garages that soon became overheated and where access to food and water was severely restricted. The prisoners were subjected to interrogations, abuse, forced displacement and beatings. The facility was run by HVO units.
