“Rašidov Han”, Snagovo

Location: Village of Snagovo, Municipality of Zvornik

Importance of the locality:

On 29 April 1992, members of the Republika Srpska Army and Police, together with members of Serb paramilitary formations, captured a group of Bosniak civilians and took them to “Rašidov Han” in Snagovo. In a private garage, members of the paramilitary formations killed 36 Bosniaks from among the captives, while three were wounded.

Court trials:

For crimes committed at the “Rašidov Han” location, the Court of BiH conducted proceedings against Zoran Janković who was acquitted of charges for crimes committed in Snagovo in the second-instance proceedings. Zoran Obradović known as “Maljić” is under suspicion as being responsible for these crimes and is being investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. Zoran Obradović is in Serbia and unavailable to the justice authorities of BiH.
