The Musala Sports Hall facilities in Konjic were used as a detention facility for Serb and Croat civilians and solders from 10 May 1992 to 6 October 1994 and were under the control of the Army of RBiH. The prisoners were subjected to abuse and inhumane treatment. Some 900 Croats and 100 Serbs were detained at this facility in total.

Court trials:
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina convicted Edhem Žilić, former member of the Army of BiH and acting director of Musala, for war crimes against the civilian population committed in Konjic, and sentenced him to nine years in prison. The Appellate Chamber of the Court of BiH ruled in March 2018 and commuted Edhem Žilić’s sentenced from nine to six years in prison.
On 13 June 2013, the War Crimes Chamber of the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH ruled in the second instance and convicted Eso Macić for war crimes against the civilian population, sentencing him to 15 years in prison for crimes committed at the Čelebići and Musala camps.
On 27 January 2016, the War Crimes Chamber of the Appellate Division of the Court of BiH upheld the second-instance judgement from 30 October 2015 convicting Ibro Macić for war crimes against the civilian population and sentencing him to 10 years in prison for crimes committed at the Musala Sports Hall in Konjic.
